Providing a way for men who are seeking an escape from drugs, alcohol, and other life-controlling issues, along with a deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
About Us
The Michael Davis House trains men with life controlling problems who are determined to overcome their bondage. The framework for this program is a process by which desperate men come to accept the Biblical message of becoming a "new creation" through faith in Jesus Christ. Old things pass away and all things become new
(II Corinthians 5:17). The goal of this twelve-month program is that each graduate become an honest, trustworthy man of God empowered by The Spirit of God.
History
The Michael Davis House is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Lake Norman. The Lord laid it on Pastor Mike Burner's heart to start this ministry after seeing the amazing transformation in the life of Michael Davis.
Who does this ministry help?
This ministry is here to support homeless men who find themselves in a bad situation but looking to change, to stop drinking, stop smoking, and turn to the Lord. This ministry is to assist men ages 18 and up.
Where are we at now?
True Homes USA has built us a house on our property to house these men. This is a 2,800 sq foot house, with 5 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, and an outdoor area with beautiful walking trails.
Future Plan
As soon as the house is ready, we will be taking in men. There will be a screening process. The men staying here will be Christian men who have a desire to turn there life around and start following Jesus.
